Who we are

Cookalocal Tour runs cooking classes and local experiences in Hoi An, Vietnam. You can reach us at cookalocal@gmail.com or +84 (0) 77 416 7407, or visit us at Tong Van Suong Street, Hoi An Dong, Da Nang City, Vietnam.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into one of our forms. We do not ask for, and never store, payment card details on this website.

  • Booking request: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, the class and date you want, how many guests, and any notes you add (for example allergies).
  • Contact form: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, and your message.
  • Newsletter: your email address.
  • Basic technical data your browser sends with every request, such as your IP address, which we use briefly to limit spam submissions.

How we use it

We use your details to answer you, to check availability, and to confirm your place in a class. A booking request is not a confirmed booking until we reply to you.

If you subscribe to the newsletter we will email you occasionally about our classes. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who else can see it

Form submissions are delivered to our email inbox through Resend, our email provider, and are stored in our Google Workspace mailbox. Our website runs on our own server.

If website analytics are enabled, Google Analytics collects anonymised usage statistics such as which pages are visited. It does not receive the contents of your messages.

How long we keep it

Booking and contact emails stay in our mailbox so we have a record of your trip and can help if you write again. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Ask us and we will delete your details.

Your choices

Write to cookalocal@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies to track you across other websites. If analytics are enabled, Google Analytics may set its own cookies to count visits.
